Privacy & your data.
Effective October 12, 2026
TOWRANNY is an independent, for-profit consumer technology initiative based in Southern California. This notice covers the early-interest forms on this website.
What these forms will collect
The forms on this site are not accepting sign-ups yet, and nothing you type into them is saved. When they open, a newsletter sign-up will save your email address and a record of your consent. A story submission will also save the general location you give us and what you write. We will not ask for towing documents, payment information, license plates, or identification, and you should not include them in your story.
How your information will be used
Your email will be used for the purpose you select: project updates, or contact about the story you send. We will not publish or share your story without checking with you first. Telling us a story does not create an attorney-client relationship, and we are not providing legal representation.
Hosting and tracking
Our hosting provider processes technical request information to serve this website. This site does not include advertising trackers.
Your choices
Submitting either form is optional. If TOWRANNY contacts you, you can reply to ask to stop further contact or to have your signup removed. You can also reach TOWRANNY through its linked social accounts to request removal; do not post your email or private case details in public comments.
Keep sensitive details private
Please do not send license plates, identification, payment details, or case documents through social media. A future story-submission process will explain what is needed and how it will be used before collecting those materials.
